Some of the more remarkable passages in the Canon are those in which a person gains a noble attainment while listening to a Dhamma talk. This anthology collects these passages and discusses them in light of the Canon’s descriptions of the noble attainments and the Buddha’s analyses of what qualities a listener has to bring to a talk in order to immediately gain a noble result.

- The EPUB format is suitable for most e-readers, except Kobos and Kindles. This includes most e-reader applications on mobile phones and tablets (e.g. Apple's iBooks, various apps for Android), and on desktops (e.g. Calibre).
- Kindle owners will generally want the AZW3 format. Unfortunately, AZW3s cannot be sent with Amazon's Send to Kindle service and need to be sideloaded via USB. Some have tried using Send to Kindle to send EPUBs, but with mixed success.
- Kobo owners will want kobo's “KEPUB” format, which is a version of the EPUB format optimized for Kobo e-readers.
